Career Education and Guidance(CEG) Programme of VCD
INTRODUCTION: The major aim of this programme is to help students, young people, unemployed, unschooled rural people to
make effective & well informed career choices.
To ensure holistic development of the participants of CEG to the fullest utilization of their inner recourses calls for
monitoring physical, mental, spiritual, psychological and social life.
Over the past 21 years VCD professional staffs: Jeesur Charan Das and Renu Das have visited over 200 schools, colleges,
Vocational Training Institutes in introducing CEG and teachers training to integrate careers routes along with their
specific subject teaching.
We introduced for the first time in India professional CEG among all sections of people in 14 villages of
Kumjharia Panchayat of Kuarmunda block.
The idea has been to reach to maximum people with effective tools of CEG for use of human resources to its maximum
potential to be of benefit to themselves and more so in the lives of others and the creation at large.
- Each human being by creation are unique hence their gifts and potentials are also special and unparallel to any other person
- Discovering the above through scientific tests, one to one career interviews uncover the immeasurable capacities inherent in each person.
- The treasure of potentials, learning style, brain dominance & its effect on the overall behavioral patterns, personality types, aptitudes, interests, extracurricular preferences, and career inclinations in terms of percentages in about 40 different career paths provides inner motivation to fulfil those aspects in most effective manner
- All the above areas of understanding within the person through proper guidance, counseling and mentoring. It would help one develop multi-skilling learning pathways along with basic academic studies leading expertise in many professional areas.
- The more people are aware of themselves the more they become responsible for being accountable for those potentials, skills, abilities etc. Hence guiding them to be connected with people, places, resource centers and various other avenues expands the horizon of prospective of growth and career development.
- One can be master of many occupations allowing to uncover the immeasurable potentials as being created in the nature of God in this world to fulfill His plan and purposes in through one’s life
